WHAT THE KIDS THOUGHT:

Their imagination ran rampant and they are thrilled with the ice cream shoppe. It easily snaps together and doesn’t have a million tiny pieces to worry about at all. WHAT BRODIE THOUGHT:

Again – I got pictures of her immediately and her fabulous design of her new special friend.

Just the idea that she can decorate this thing alone is fabulous. The decals can be removed and placed anywhere and anyhow she would like it. Now I’m not quite sure the on/off process of this thing (and the noises it makes can be annoying to a parent) but so far the battery is withstanding it!  She loves it. She treats it like another pet and I am hoping doesn’t attempt to feed and water this dog! A perfect toy for any girl or boy (they have different colors, styles and more!). It’s a must have for your kids this Christmas!

Daytons Thoughts:

I’ve gotta show you the picture of him with his Nerf toys. He knows Nerf and loves Nerf – so the minute he saw these things he had his normal boy spastic attack on me!

I’ll be honest though…he has that forced smile here and I strategically put him in front of the tree. Either way he loves them. He tore them open and said “Mom I’m going out the front door to play with my Nerf balls outside”. He knows the dogs would chase them in the backyard. Miss Blondie would be proud of the Patriots being sported on the Pocket Vortex and they do have other teams available! He’s already scoped out the Nerf website and wants to collect all the teams. He even went into his room later last night and tossed the balls around in there! Since the opening of these he hasn’t stopped saying to  me “When Daddy gets home we are going to play Football Mommy!”  Honestly you cannot go wrong, when seeking out gifts for boys of all ages, with Nerf!

WHAT THE GIRLS THOUGHT:

Brodie and Tristan got to try out — Sophie and Alexis. And they were thrilled. These aren’t like Barbie’s. The 14 points of articulation make the huge difference in letting the girls play and let their imaginations run wild with these dolls! Tristan loved the ability to change their hair out (with the wigs) as she’s super into the whole hair thing. The pieces are small (earrings, shoes) as with any doll like this, so  careful. WHAT WE THOUGHT:

The maker is a  lot like an Easy Bake Oven. So simple to use. The kids loved making the Pizzas and while it’s not the same as a Chuck E Cheese, we played games that night to to mimic a fun night at home with them! I cannot lie, these aren’t the greatest tasting pizza’s but the kids loved them and the entire process of them – so it’s a sure fire way to keep them happy and entertained! This has got to be one of the funnest toys to check out for your kids this Christmas!!!!

These are pictures of the Labels I was able to review with Dayton. They have his first and last name on them, are blue and have a pirate ship! He helped chose exactly how he wanted them (and of course my girls are now screaming about wanting their own)

And to be honest I’m considering getting some for the girls as a stocking stuffer! I cannot tell you how impressed I am with these, truly – they are holding up to a kindergarten boy no less!

WHAT WE THOUGHT:

While Tristan and Dayton are a little bit young for this game, they were fully able to comprehend the questions we were asking them. So I helped them with the board part of the game but the questions they answered all on their own. For a family game – we love it! We played this game for three straight hours and did not stop laughing for a single minute!!! This is an excellent, excellent family game and a great gift idea for any family!
