Don’t Take Him Shopping

The other day the kids and I went shopping as I had to get some groceries. I figured while I was at the store I would go ahead and pick up a couple outfits for each kids. School starts in about a week so I need to get going with that. I hate bulk shopping for school clothes because I end up spending more than I like. So I attempt to break it up. One week I buy a couple outfits per kid and same thing next week. Surprisingly they all are already set for school clothes and shoes it’s just the supplies. Ugh.

Either way I picked out some cute outfits for the girls all the while Dayton complaining and whining about being in the girls section. Such is life when you are the only boy unless Daddy is home.

happy boy

And I’m sorry but he does NOT look all smiles like that when he has to do girl stuff ALL the time.

Anyway so we finally make it over to the boys section and I Dayton decides to give me and idea of what he wants me to buy. He chooses a nice oxford style shirt and some bow ties. Yes. Bow Ties.

This kid confuses me daily.

Cute picture. I was the only female for a while in our house with my ds and hubby. Luckily now the house is more balanced since my dd arrived. – lol

Bow ties, hmmmm wonder if he’s going to grow up to be a satrical political commentator on TV, playing a piano and making up songs from time to time. LOL.
I bet he won’t. Maybe he’ll grow up to be a stock market genius and make his mom and dad boat loads of money in the market. One can dream, right?
