“Meet The Bloggers” Nicóle from The Pink Chandelier

meet the bloggersI have been following Nicóle I’m pretty sure since I started blogging. I know I fell of following her for a bit, but of course reconnected once again. She was recently dubbed one of the Top 100 Mom Blogs by MomDot and I couldn’t agree more. So when I was finally able to twist her arm and force her to do this I was more than excited. So let’s meet her, you won’t regret it.

Pink Chandelier MamaIsn’t she gorgeous? Her personality matches her outside – gorgeous! You can stalk (like I do) her here:

Question 1:

Why in the world do you blog? And what is your favorite thing about it?

I blog because I love to write. Writing is a passion of mine, and blogging when I discovered it seemed like a natural progression up from keeping a journal and writing stuff that no-one ever saw. At least this way, a few people read it.

My favorite thing about blogging is when someone actually tells me that they read my blog and enjoy it! That always makes me feel like a million bucks and surprises the heck out of me!

I recently started a new blog called Writer Dance, with the intention of writing, REALLY writing on it, but haven’t done much with it because I spend most of my blog writing time working on stuff for The Pink Chandelier.

Question 2:

What is your favorite color, food and number?

Pink. It’s always been pink. Food, anything Cuban and strawberries, oh and watermelon, and chocolate! I dig the number 3.

Question 3:

What kind of music do you listen to?

I love music, would be completely lost with out my iPod, I’ve got playlists everywhere (including my blog). I love music in all forms. I do love this group called Blue October. I think they’re the greatest band EVER!

Question 4:

Do you have a personal statement or motto that you live by?

I do. “Be who you are and love it!”

Question 5:

If you could live anywhere – where would it be?

If I could move to Spain right this moment I would in a heart beat. Know anyone who wants to buy a house?

Question 6:

If you could be from the past – which part of the past would you chose?

Oh boy, that’s a hard one. My first instinct is to say about the time that Jane Austen was writing, I would have loved to meet her. I also think the 1940′s would have been interesting.

Question 7:

If you had a million dollars were told you had to live on a beautiful island with a beautiful house with only one person in the world – who would you pick?

Hands down my husband, but I do think I’d have to turn down the mula, my family is much to important to me to go with out them, especially my boys.

Question 8:

Which networking site do you despise the most?
None, really. I only use Twitter and facebook. I have a MySpace account that has pretty much become a ghost town, but I keep it, I’m sentimental that way. Plus, my playlist is really cool. I think what I dislike the most is how much time I spend on them and how easily I am distracted from my writing to see what’s new on facebook.

Question 9:

Tell us one random thing you are thinking right now.

I’m trying to work on this one scene I’m working on that is giving me a bit of trouble. In case you didn’t know, I’m working on my first novel.

Question 10:

Last but not least – what is your favorite feature on yourself?

My personality and self-esteem. I think if a woman has those two things going for her, it makes her that much more beautiful!
