Trisha over at MomDot wrote a great article today about how when we blog we end up forgetting to mention ourselves all to often than not. Like, Hi I’m Brittany this is what I look like kind of thing! So here I am going to reintroduce myself to you lovely people!

My name is Brittany Ann Hudson – Greer. Yes, my last name is hyphenated. Why? Laziness. Why else? I’m pretty proud of the Hudson last name honestly. Not because of my Dad or anything, but because of my Grandfather. (Yes the one that passed away.)

I’ve got three kids. Brodie, Dayton, Tristan. I cannot sum them up in less than 50 words. But since I want to make this short I’ll sum it up in a sentence – they are perfect.

Aren’t they cute? Say yes dammit.

I’m married to my best friend. Brent.  It sounds cliche, but it’s the truth. I can do without anything in this world but him. Him I like. He talks to me about everything and I talk to him about everything. We don’t hide anything from each other and we understand what makes each of us tick. He works in Alaska pretty much all year around. When I say that I mean he works hitches. 4-6 (sometimes more) week away, 2 weeks (give or take depending on what we have planned) home. It’s tough, but we are a tough family. We survive happily.

I’ve attended school but never obtained a degree. I don’t see the point in me wasting money on something I am not happy with. I still haven’t entirely figured out what makes me that happy to waste money. Writing. History. Those are the two things I love the most.

I smoke but I think Alicia is going to help me quit. She made me feel good about myself and the idea that I should quit. She’s quite the motivating person if you ever had the blessing to meet her.

I drink alcohol. Much more this year than I have in the past 26 years of my life. I don’t drink at home. I’m a social drinker.

We move a lot. A lot. We’ve lived in Huntsville, Texas; Bryan/College Station, Texas; Kerrville, Texas; Bandera, Texas; Big Spring, Texas; Nacogdoches, Texas; Mesa, Arizona; Show Low, Arizona; Queen Creek, Arizona; Snowflake, Arizona and I think you get the point. I hate the packing. Love to unpack. Brent loves the drive. I hate it. We both love change and something new.

Brent has lived all around. Wyoming, Alaska, Texas, New Mexico. He saw the Grand Canyon with me for the first time this year. Went to Disneyland the first time with me and the kids a couple years ago.

I’ve been everywhere. My Mom loves to travel. I’ve been to numerous states and Puerto Rico. Pretty amazing things I’ve seen.

I’m sarcastic. I enjoy coffee, err caffeine. I love to read. Read a book in less than a day on my way to New Orleans. I’m opinionated but try to keep my opinions close to myself. I hate small dogs, New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. I bleed blue for the Yankees. I love sports and wouldn’t mind being a sport journalist. I consider a lot of my friends to be my bestest friends. But that is because we tell each other everything. Even if it’s five years later.I love music. I work for a band and am in the new beginnings of working for a new artist.

I encourage my kids to be independent and not rush life. I want them to dream of being a star on Broadway or a firefighter long before they make the decision on that is who and what they are.  I don’t think you should punish them for dreaming. Martin Luther King had a dream.

I’m an idealist. I see good in everyone and everything. I am so disappointed when I see that isn’t true.

I am a  Taurus.

I hate the phone.

I think Myspace is lame.

I think children don’t belong on social networking sites.

I am not a republican. I am not a democrat. I just love my country.

I don’t go to church. I believe in God.

My husband and his family are Masons.

I like to cook for my husband he appreciates it.

I like to bake.

Brent appreciates me and gives me time off.

I hate the cold but love the snow.

I hate feet. They are disgusting.

I have small feet. I mean small. If you have seen them you know. I can wear a 3 in kids.

I have a big ass and am proud of it.

I am sticking to losing weight this year. I used to look like this:

I may not look like that now but I am a beautiful person.

I am a statistic. Parent divorced. Teen pregnancy. I am not ashamed. It was nobodies fault. Actually Brent and I were a planned teen pregnancy. I went off birth control and had A LOT of sex with him. I got Brodie out of it. That is all that matters.

I think that people who attack children as a means of hurting someone should be labeled as a pedophile.

I live life with no regrets.

I apparently like to lick people:

I am a bad ass friend and person.
