Question 1:

Why in the world do you blog? And what is your favorite thing about it?


I love to write!  I have loved writing since I was a little girl and dreamed of growing up to become either Laura Ingalls Wilder or Louisa May Alcott.  I went to school and graduated with a B.A. in print journalism but HATE having editors and being told what to write. Then I had kids.  Blogging became my passion!  I love to write about what I care about, how I am feeling and capture the amazing and hilarious memories immediately after they occur!
My favorite thing about it is people read my writing and let me know how it affects them.  I love having people read what I publish, absolutely adore it!

Question 2:

What is your favorite color, food and number?


Color – kinda changes, but is pink or purple
Food – Sweets like Pecan pie! I can’t say no!
Number – has always been 16. When I was a little girl I dreamed of being 16.

Question 3:

What kind of music do you listen to?


I’m a country gal!  Brad Paisley is my dream man. I also love Christian Music on occasion (fav being DC Talk)

Question 4:

Do you have a personal statement or motto that you live by?


“It won’t be like this for long.”  Love my babies cause they’ll be grown someday. Love living today cause tomorrow will be different. This can take so many meanings.

Question 5:

If you could live anywhere – where would it be?


Right here! I love Kansas so very much!  I would prefer to have my mom and dad move another 100 miles away but their drama is nothing compared to this peace and safety I feel living close to family and in my lovely little Kansas with my 3 goats.

Question 6:

If you could be from the past – which part of the past would you chose?


I’d live in the 1950s!  I love the music and the fashions, but I would so love to skip the horror that was the 60′s!

Question 7:

If you had a million dollars were told you had to live on a beautiful island with a beautiful house with only one person in the world – who would you pick?


Josh my husband!  I’d be terribly sad to be away from my babies though…..I’d give the money back to have them with  me.

Question 8:

Which networking site do you despise the most?


I’m not into networking sites enough to hate one…..but I have to say that I am starting to dislike facebook. I just go on it to see friend’s photos anymore….they are changing it so much that I don’t have time to figure out how to use it.

Question 9:

Tell us one random thing you are thinking right now.


I wish my children went to sleep at 7pm without any tears at all. Just lay them down, turn out the light and *poof* freedom!

Question 10:

Last but not least – what is your favorite feature on yourself?


My ability to look on the bright side of things.  I get depressed a lot, but most of the time I can see the lemonade through the lemons!
