If there is one thing in my life I am extremely picky about and will take my time researching it is makeup. As we know, I have problematic skin. Anything I put on my face (i.e. face cleansers, toners, lotions, acne control and makeup) has to be tested in a couple weeks span and especially during the time I am menstruating. My skin reacts differently during that time and it takes two weeks for my skin to show either a negative or positive affect from anything. I’ve tried so many different type of makeup it’s insane. After about six months, right when I think I’ve found the perfect product – it turns on me! Luckily not in most cases though. But one thing I have found that my skin honestly loves, mineral makeup. Without a doubt. And I have been on the hunt for a new mineral makeup that my face would love and my checking account would love.

My Thoughts:

To be honest, I’ve never actually used concealer with different shades/tones. I’ve always used the run of the mill one color, one type of concealer. So I had to look up on the website and beauty sites how to use each color of concealer. I know, I’m a total noob and you would think with my skin I would already have this down. Not so much. Either way, I read up on the concealer and went to town with it, quite literally. This concealer – a little bit goes a long way. And now that I know how to use it – I love it. It’s perfect and so far, no problems arising with my skin at all!

Yes, I did know what to do with this and I was excited. They color works magically with my skin tone and quite honestly, a little goes a long way with this also. A quick sweep with my brush and onto my face and my face was highlighted beautifully. No adverse reactions with my skin at all either. Score!

My Thoughts:

Hey, what do you know – I know how to use this too! Ha! But honestly – I have tried quite a few lip stains, pricey ones even and by far this one takes the cake. I was sent a very subtle color, which props for that because I like to do us the eyes, downplay the lips – and this lip stain added a soft color to my lips and the gloss gave it that shimmer so my lips and the color aren’t totally invisible.

My Thoughts:

This is exactly what I was looking for in mineral makeup. When I say this kit came with mineral heaven – it truly did! The most surprising was the mineral lipstick! Who knew? And how soft it feels, A-mazing! I love the organizer too – every year for Christmas I beg for a new makeup organizer!

Price - $35.00 (This is not just awesome, it’s freaking fantastic! All that for that price – beyond amazed)

Each of these products would definitely make the PERFECT Christmas present for any makeup lover and with the price of the products, you CANNOT go wrong!! I am now hooked onto e.l.f and I doubt I will be going back at all!!! This is one addiction I do not want to rid myself of!
