Pine Cone Craft

This is a fun craft to do with the kids and another way to get outside.

Gather Pine Cones.

You can spray paint them or leave them plain. If you leave them plain you will need to cover them in oil of some sort (cooking oil etc).

Then mix in a bag the following ingredients:

Couple Cloves, Tons of Cinnamon, Little Bit of Orange Zest.

Shake this bag up until completely mixed. Then add the pine cones and shake until the pine cones are covered.

Keep the pine cones in this bag overnight. The next dump out the pine cones and mixture and let it dry out on a newspaper. Once dry put them in a decorative bowl and voila. Fun kid craft and smelly good pine cones!

My son used to love collecting pine cones when he was a toddler. That’s a great way to make something nice with them.

What a wonderful crafty idea! We used to paint pine cones with glue and glitter when I was little and they always made for such pretty decorations!
