Pumpkin Fluff Frosting / Cake Recipe

With Fall in full swing, Halloween now over, I want to start dishing out some of my recipes. I love cooking (gasp) and baking during the fall. I’m not sure if it warms up my house in the cool weather or if it just feels go to do it.

Here is the recipe for my Pumpkin Fluff Frosting & Cake. A treat I ONLY make once a year and my kids look forward to.

Cake:

Make any flavored cake (I do the white funfetti style cake from Pillsbury) by following directions on box.

Frosting:

1 can pre made pumpkin pie filling

2 cups vanilla pudding

3 cups cool whip

3 cups powdered sugar

I mix all of this together and voila – Pumpkin Fluff. You can use it as a dip with Vanilla Wafers or Graham Crackers or do like I do and put it on a cake as frosting. I then use orange decorating gel and chocolate sprinkles to decorate the cake. You can also put the “fluff” in a graham cracker crust for a meringue style pie also. It’s an easy and tasty recipe that is very versatile!
